3 Days Kenya Safaris and Tours

amboseli national parkDay 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

0700 hours Depart Nairobi and drive south across the Athi Plains, home of the Maasai and on to Amboseli National park. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop. We arrive early mid-day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. Later explore the Amboseli plains in an evening game drive at 1600 hours.

amboseli/tsavo west national parkDay 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

0700 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel. Drive across the Athi plains home of the Masai tribe to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. 

An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled when animals are at their most active. Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro snow -capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.
Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and other animals including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop.

Day 1: Nairobi -Lake Nakuru

0700 hours. Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park with a brief stop to view the scenic view of The Great Rift Valley. Arrive Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Afternoon safari game drive looking out for birds and wildlife around the park. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to thousands of flamingoes, pelicans and other bird species. Black rhino and white rhino, rothschild giraffes, zebra, buffalo, lion, warthog are also found in the park. Dinner and overnight at your Lake Nakuru lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Lake Bogoria

After breakfast enjoy a morning bird and game viewing drive at Lake Nakuru National park. Proceed to Lakes Bogoria on a scenic drive along the floors of the Great Rift Valley. At Lake Bogoria you will marvel at the hot springs with views of flamingoes in the background.

samburu national parkDay 1 : Nairobi - Samburu

0700 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive north to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp.
After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive as from 1600hrs until dusk.
Dinner and overnight at your Samburu Lodge / tented camp.

Day 2 : Samburu National Reserve

This day shall be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. You may also opt for the cultural visits within the area.
Samburu Game Reserve offers a wide range of attractions. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastoralists. Ewasso Nyiro River which runs along the southern boundary is home to crocodile and hippo with the many animals visiting to drink water during the heat of the day. In Samburu you are likely to spot buffalo, leopard, lion,

0700 hours pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Safari takes you to the Maasai Mara Reserve and into the domain of the Maasai, Kenya's cattle-herding nomads determined to preserve their traditions. The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya's richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. Arrival Masai Mara in time for lunch, after lunch embark on an afternoon Game drive until late evening.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

DAY 2: Full Day Game Drive - MASAI MARA.

Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant.
