6 Days Kenya Safaris and Tours

samburu national reserveDay 1: Nairobi – Samburu.

0700 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive north to Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp.
After a short rest proceed for an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at your Samburu Lodge / tented camp.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve.

This day shall be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. You may also opt for the cultural visits within the area.
Samburu Game Reserve offers a wide range of attractions. It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastoralists. Ewasso Nyiro River which runs along the southern boundary is home to crocodile and hippo with the many animals visiting to drink water during the heat of the day. In Samburu you are likely to spot buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, reticulated giraffe and other plains game.

0730 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel. Proceed to the Aberdare region via the central Kenya highlands. Lunch at your base hotel.
Afternoon transfer to your tree lodge. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the balconies of your Tree lodge.

Day 2: Aberdare – Olpejeta

Breakfast at your Tree lodge and transfer to your base hotel.
Depart for the Olpejeta conservancy. On arrival proceed on a game viewing drive. Lunch at your lodge / camp.
Afternoon game viewing drive at the conservancy with opportunities of seeing the Rhino and chimpanzee among other animals and bird species.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Olpejeta – Lake Nakuru

0730 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel. Proceed to the Aberdare region via the central Kenya highlands. Lunch at your base hotel.
Afternoon transfer to your tree lodge. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the balconies of your Tree lodge

Day 2: Aberdare – Lake Bogoria

Depart for Lake Bogoria National park with a stop at Thomson falls. There will be stops to view the Great Rift Valley. At Lake Bogoria you shall marvel at the hot springs with views of flamingoes in the background.
Dinner and overnight at your Lake Bogoria lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru

Depart for Lake Nakuru National park.
In the afternoon explore Lake Nakuru National Park on an afternoon game viewing

masai mara Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli

0700 hours. Depart Nairobi and drive south through Masai country to the Amboseli National Park where the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro majestically dominates the area. Arrival is around lunchtime.
Afternoon game drive to search for wildlife against the back drop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Amboseli

Spend the day at Amboseli with game viewing drives.
Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and other animals including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop.An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled when animals are at their most active.

0700 hours Depart Nairobi and drive south across the Athi Plains, home of the Maasai and on to Amboseli. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and many other animals including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop. We arrive early mid-day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. Later explore the Amboseli plains in an evening game drive at 1600 hours.
Dinner & Overnight at your Amboseli Lodge or Camp.

Day 2: Amboseli - Aberdare National Park

Early morning game drive. In the early morning you have an opportunity to see the peak of the mountain weather permitting. Breakfast at the lodge. Depart for Aberdare National
