Giraffe center and David Sheldrik Elephant Orphanage
0800 hours. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Depart for The Giraffe center located in Langata, approximately 20 kilometers from the city Centre. It was established to protect the endangered Rothschilds giraffe.
The main attraction is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The Giraffe center is also home to several warthogs which roam the area with the giraffes.
Nairobi National Park
Nairobi National park was established in 1946 and is located 7 KM south of Nairobi city Centre, Kenya’s capital city. The park is Kenya’s first ever national park and is a unique and unspoiled wildlife haven.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning at 0630 hours for the morning tour or 1400 hours for the afternoon tour. On this 4-hour program you shall see sections of highland forest, stretches of broken bush country and deep, rocky valleys and gorges make the rest of the park.
Fourteen Falls Thika
The tour departs in the morning from Nairobi and you drive north some 60 km from the city. Once at fourteen falls, a local guide will lead you down a rocky path to the near side base of the falls where you get a boat for crossing the river.
Fourteen Falls derives its name from the 14 distinct falls that cut across the Athi River.
The experienced boat guides use a long pole, guiding the boat on a leisurely ride downstream, back upstream and across the river to a rocky bank on the far side.
Lake Naivasha/Hell’s gate
06.30am pickup from your Nairobi hotel / residence. Drive to Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate National Park, with a break to get views of the Great Rift Valley from a scenic overlook along the way. Arrive Hells gate National park at approximately 9am, begin a 2-hour, guided bike tour: watch for herds of Thompson’s gazelle, eland, zebra, and hartebeest as you ride. Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning at 0630 hrs. Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park through The Great African Rift Valley. On arrival proceed on a game viewing drive. Lunch at Lake Nakuru national park followed by a game viewing drive. Later depart Lake Nakuru for Nairobi arriving late in the evening. Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or Airport.
