amboseli elephantsDay 1: Nairobi- Amboseli

0700 hours. Depart Nairobi and drive south through Masai country to the Amboseli National Park where the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro majestically dominates the area. Arrival is around lunchtime.
Afternoon game drive to search for wildlife against the back drop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge or tented camp.

Day 2: Amboseli

Spend the day at Amboseli with game viewing drives.
Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging African elephants as well as huge herds of wildebeests and other animals including giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop.


Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli lodge or tented camp.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha.

After breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha. There will be stops to view the Great Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Lake Naivasha.
Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at your Lake Naivasha lodge or tented camp.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru.

Explore Lake Naivasha wildlife on a 1-hour boat tour. Spot the hippos that linger just at the surface of the water, and see some of the diverse birdlife; African fish eagles, lesser flamingos, African spoonbill, and little grebe are all common here.
Proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch.
Afternoon game viewing drive alongside the shores of the lake where you will have an opportunity of seeing thousands of flamingoes among other bird species. The lake hosts the black and white rhino. During the game drive, you may spot leopards, lions, cheetahs, and many other animal species.
Dinner and overnight at your Lake Nakuru Lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara.
After breakfast depart for the world famous Masai Mara game reserve. The Masai Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya's richest concentration of wildlife, and regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa.
Afternoon game viewing drive.
Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara lodge or tented camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Spend the full day at the Masai Mara game reserve with unlimited game viewing drives.
The reserve is an extension of the vast Serengeti plains and is known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home of the big five. You shall have your picnic lunch at the banks of the Mara river. Residents of the reserve are Masai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plains game including impala, zebra, topi, Thompsons and grant gazelles
Optional activities.
-Visit to a local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour.
-Hot air balloon ride.
Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara lodge or tented camp.
Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi.
Early morning game viewing drive.
Breakfast at the lodge and depart for Nairobi with lunch stop on your way.
Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport.
